WELCOME TO HIGH PLAINS GARDENS

High Plains Gardens is located at 3211 CR 5800, north of Lubbock off University Avenue (FM 1264), we offer a variety of plants for both indoors and out. We specialize in native Texas plants, offering a number of tried and true favorites, as well as a few not-so-common varieties. Along with Texas natives, we also have plants that are native to the Southwest as a whole and, therefore, are xeric by nature.

High Plains Gardens also has an assortment of gifts for home or office, indoors or out. Propagation continues as we prepare for Spring with lots of seedlings, and cuttings are happily growing inside where it’s warm. We propagate all of our plants. We purchase some of the seeds; some are received as gifts, and others are saved or collected by us from year to year.

Our first sale of the year is scheduled to be at the Arboretum Plant Sale – April 27th. We will have an assortment of tomatoes, peppers, and herbs as well as native plants.

High Plains Gardens was established in March of 2008 by Nancy Hubbard and Dr. Nick Parker, long-time friends and associates.
